Bhandarhati Om Shanti Sevashram Sangha was founded in 2008 with a shared vision of unity, compassion, and dedicated service to society. From the very beginning, our directors came together with one common goal — to serve communities across West Bengal through meaningful social initiatives.
Our journey began with a deep commitment to uplift the poor and backward sections of society. Inspired by the remarkable work of other NGOs and selfless social workers, we embraced the mission of serving humanity with sincerity and faith.
In 2023, our organization received renewed strength and direction with the support of a noble and dedicated individual who helped expand and strengthen our activities. Today, many committed individuals have joined hands with us, united by the shared purpose of serving society wholeheartedly.
During 2023–24, a newly formed Governing Body took active responsibility for strengthening and expanding the social initiatives of our organization. Various welfare programs were conducted including free health camps, awareness drives, coaching classes for underprivileged students, clothing distribution, street child education, and skill development training.
In 2024–25, we proudly established Bright Future Academy, an English Medium School aimed at providing quality and affordable education to children from all sections of society.
Looking ahead, we are planning to promote sustainable agricultural practices by introducing organic fertilizer initiatives and providing farmers with proper training and guidance in modern organic technology.
